Last week i took a close friend of mine to this restaurant in old town Mombasa. I had been there several times mostly hanging out and catching up with my close friends but I hadn’t taken her yet.
She literally loved the place mainly because it had no network coverage, quiet and the food was quite affordable. It is mainly visited by tourist because with such an environment you can catch up on your favorite book with little or no distractions.
The swahili art is impeccable from the floor to the walls. And in case you do not feel like sitting inside you can always have a fine dine on the tables just outside this cosy room.
I would recommend this place for fine coastal delicacies. Be it a date, casual friends or family hangout.
Being almost close to Fort Jesus its clearly a gem in Old Town, Mombasa.

Always loved that place especially the fact that you get disconnected to the outside world…am loving what they’ve done with the place looks so beautiful
a nice little place that blends in with the old street. a favourite. the place lets you enjoy the surroundings (with a cup of ginger tea ofcourse), especially after a long walk through the ancient town.
